Join us for a graphic novel book club this fall where we’ll share different perspectives and a love for reading across generations, between older adults and high school students. Sponsored by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.

This month we’ll discuss Ghost Book by Remy Lai. You can pick up a copy of the book from the Gaithersburg Library’s Information Desk starting September 18.

Join us as we learn about American pop-artist Andy Warhol, whose work explores the relationship between art and advertising. We’ll then create our own work of art inspired by his iconic pieces!

A fun, guided, interactive children’s yoga practice tailored to encourage breath, movement, mindfulness, and meditation. Sponsored by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.

This practice will include basic yoga poses, sequences and breath work. Please bring your own mat or towel.

For Grades Kindergarten-5th. The practice is specifically designed for early elementary with benefits for all elementary aged children.
