Just for the Record – A Vinyl Day

Join us in our annual celebration of music, culture, art and sound.

The free virtual event is open to everyone interested in music and vinyl.

All ages welcome. No registration needed.

The schedule of events is as follows:

12 pm              Make Music Montgomery Contest

A pre-selected group of musical acts will perform and showcase their talents at the contest. Contest entry is now closed.

1 pm               Vinyl Record Workshop

A workshop on vinyl record pricing hosted by Lance Salins, Director of Business Operations of Friends of the Library Montgomery County and antiques collector, Ray Brennan.

2 pm               Panel Discussion on Social Justice in Music

Moderated by Garrett McQueen. Panelists include Olivia Ellis Randolph & Dianne Be of Takoma Radio and musician Daryl Davis.
