Let’s make creatures out of pine cones! Sponsored by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.
Join us for a fun afternoon of arts and crafts and make creatures out of pine cones to take home.
This is a hands-on craft activity, and all supplies will be provided. This program is designed for children 6 years old and up.
Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

Beginning Readers: come to the Olney Library for your first book club!
Together we will read Boo, Katie Woo! by Fran Manushkin, followed by a fun craft!
You do not need to read the book before the program. Copies of the book will be available at the program.
This book club is for Kindergarteners and First Graders, and adults/caregivers MUST accompany the children.

Join us for an afternoon of STEM as part of the Maryland STEM Festival! Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.
Join us for an afternoon of STEM-ertainment! Build a Crankie Contraption and tell an illustrated story with a screen-based machine. You will assemble the folding frame, illustrate a story, and roll out the narrative sequence on the paper scroll screen.
This program is part of the 9th Annual Maryland STEM Festival. The activity is for children ages 5 years old and up. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
