Event Details

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, Inc. This is a summertime program for children ages 3 and up and their families.

Pirates and Buccaneers traveled in the Chesapeake Bay. What animals did they travel with as companions, food, and trade goods? Meet a few of these swashbuckling animals and learn more about their history in a piratey fun manner.  You will see live animals such as the red footed tortoise, a rat, a ball python and more!  Dress like a pirate if you want!
