Join Sheila Oak Maggin for an outdoor interactive program at the Long Branch Library where participants of all ages can learn about Indian culture through dance and music. She will take you on a tour through Classical Indian, Folk and Bollywood dance forms!

Sheila Oak Maggin, Managing Director of Rhythmaya, is a classically trained dancer in the Northern Indian Classical form of Kathak which dates back to 500 BCE. She is also a noted Bollywood, Middle Eastern, and Hip Hop trained dancer and received her minor in dance from George Mason University.

Rhythmaya has created a wonderful program that educates all ages about a rich cultural that incorporates the best of both worlds: traditional and modern elements of India.

Outdoor programs are weather permitting, so please call the Long Branch Library at 240-777-0910 to check the program status if it is raining. This program has a rain date of Friday, July 30th at 10:30 am.
