Event Details
Neil Currie, a longtime news anchor for the Voice of America, congressional correspondent for Westinghouse Broadcasting and writer for ABC News, was educated at the Lenox School in his native Massachusetts and at Montréal’s McGill University.
In his radio career at one time or another Neil broadcast for WEEI, Boston (when it was still owned by CBS); WINS, New York; KYW, Philadelphia; CFCF Radio and the CBC in Montréal and the Far East Network in Tokyo.
This experience informs The Stanstead Incident, a realistic novel that shows our western political systems attempting to grapple with the growing threat of terrorism. Although fiction The Stanstead Incident is based on historical facts. The incidents portrayed actually happened, albeit over a period of years, not months.
