Event Details

Join Friends of the Library Montgomery County (FOLMC) for a moderated panel discussion on mental health resources in the library.

We’ll have a conversation with:

·         Librarian, Author and Youth Mental Health Advocate, Deborah Takahashi.

·         Founder/Executive Director, Letters to Strangers, Diana Chao

·         Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Mindfulness Coordinator, Jeffrey Donald.

The event will be led by FOLMC Student Representatives to the Board of Directors:

·         Corinne Nichols, Senior, Albert Einstein High School

·         Boshra Nouraiie, Junior, Winston Churchill High School

 

Registration required to attend the event and/or to receive SSL hours.

A link will be sent to registrants 24 hours and one hour prior to the event.

 

MCPS students can earn one (1) SSL hour for attending.
