Event Details
Lt. Cmdr. E. S. Maloney, Jr. USN Ret,, will be our guest speaker. A graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy and Admiral Rickover’s Nuclear Powered School, he served on U. S. Navy nuclear-powered submarines for 15 years.
This month’s article is “A Roadmap for U. S. Nuclear Energy Innovation” by Richard K. Lester, Issues in Science and Technology, Winter 2016.
We hope everyone will feel comfortable participating. The group is fairly small so that everyone can see and hear everyone else while seated around a table. Copies of the articles to be discussed will be available without charge on the holds shelf at the library.
This program made possible through the generous support of Friends of the Library, Chevy Chase Chapter.
