Have you ever wondered how an author takes an idea from a story in their head to a published book you can hold in your hands? Local storyteller and author Noa Baum will share her book How the Birds Became Friends – a delightful take on a Burmese folktale,  illustrated by renowned ecologist and artist Zev Labinger about the power of kindness. She will engage us in an interactive conversation about the choices we can make to bring more healing and peace into our world as well as the work involved in bringing it into print.
