The Friends of the Library, Rockville Memorial Chapter will host Dan Balz, who will speak on “The Current Political Climate.” Dan Balz is chief correspondent at the Washington Post. He has been on the front lines of the Post’s political coverage as a reporter or editor since 1978. Balz is the author or co-author of several books, including two New York Times bestsellers. He has received several awards for journalism and, specifically, his coverage of politics. He is a regular panelist on PBS’ “Washington Week” and is a frequent guest on Sunday morning talk shows and other programs.

The talk will be followed by a Q & A session. Capacity of the first floor meeting room is limited, so free tickets will be required for entry.
