Presented by Under the Sea

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, Inc. This is a summertime program for children ages 3 and up and their families.

See live animals of the Chesapeake Bay!

Chesapeake Critters focuses on animal life in our wonderful Chesapeake Bay.  Learn how the critters live and how we can protect North America’s largest estuary. Animals may include an oyster, hermit crab, blue crab, horseshoe crab, oyster toadfish, and whelk. Also, there may be live barnacles, amphipods, grass shrimp and skillet fish to view as well.

Due to the nature of this program, masks are required for participants ages 5 and up.
