First of three films in a series: Isaac Pope: The Spirit of an American Century: a 100-year-old, magnificent, unsung hero of WWII, civil rights, and labor activism takes us right into history. Meet the award-winning filmmaker, Paula Caplan, who will lead a discussion and answer questions after the film. Two other films are scheduled: Oct. 14, Service: When Women Come Marching Home, and Nov. 4, Is Anybody Listening? This series of films and discussions with the filmmaker, NAACP officials, and veterans, is free and open to the public.
