Join Abracadabra Alex for a fun and interactive comedy magic show that highlights the many adventures kids can take through the magic of books, reading, and libraries. During the performance, children will be amazed and engaged with magical-themed stories tied to books that they’ll want to take home after the show as they make reading and libraries a favorite part of their everyday world.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

Sing, move, and play along to songs in Spanish and English with musician and teacher Teresa Jiménez. Teresa will lead us on an interactive musical adventure with breathing, singing, movement, dancing, and chances to play and shake along with instruments. All ages welcome for fun and connection through music!
This is a summertime program for babies through age 8 and their families.
