Friends of the Library is proud to sponsor events for and at local libraries in Montgomery County. You can find events throughout the county year round!

Our Literary Luncheon series presents intimate discussions with current authors in the elegant surroundings of Strathmore Hall. Past authors have included Kathleen Kennedy Townsend and Susan Shreve and Tim Seldes, and upcoming authors include our own Frank Joseph and Elizabeth Noble.

The Literary Feasts are held at a prominent local resident’s home and provide a unique opportunity to meet and talk to prominent authors in the area. This exclusive event is invitation only.

Library Lovers Month is a national event bringing together book lovers and libraries! It’s hard to limit our celebrations to just February, but we make all our events memorable to keep you motivated throughout the year.  Stop by your local branch or our bookstores to find events and give-aways for Library Lovers Month.
