Welcome to Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, Inc! We are a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing the Montgomery County Public Libraries through our fundraising and advocacy efforts.

The 22nd Annual Literary Luncheon Series resumes in April when Cokie and Steve Roberts will conclude this year’s Literary Luncheon Series, featuring the theme Libraries are for Lovers. You can download the brochure to learn more or visit the page to register online and reserve your seats today. All lectures begin at 11:30 AM at the Mansion at Strathmore in North Bethesda. Lunch is optional and served after the lecture and question and answer session.
Thanks to everyone who came out for the Library Lovers Month Kick-off in Silver Spring on January 30th! We were so glad to see so many of you out despite the snow. Library Lovers Month goes throughout all of February– check with your local branch and FOL chapter to learn about the special events we’re using to celebrate our amazing libraries.
