Advocacy Toolkit

Fellow Library Lovers,

We now face another budget cycle, this time with greater uncertainty than in the previous few years. County Executive Leggett has proposed a 2% cut across the board for our current FY18 budget and has asked that county agencies come up with a 4% cut for FY19.

As the FY19 process moves forward, we library lovers need to make sure that our elected officials understand just how vital healthy libraries are to our community.

Thank you!
Tom Thomson, President, FOLMC
Kathleen Reedy, Chair, MCLB
