Bring a dish to share (for approximately 10 people) that is both easy to serve and to eat while standing up. You should bring a dish based on the first letter of your branch name (A for administration and C for collection management). Make sure that you are prepared to take all serving utensils and/or leftovers since there is no capacity to store or return items. This must be strictly adhered to.

— Branch names beginning with A – G | Main Dishes
— Branch names beginning with H – N | Desserts
— Branch names beginning with O – Z | Appetizers

Please identify what specific item you will be providing on the signup page. For example:

Main Dishes: Pizza, Deli Meats, Chicken Wings, Meatballs, Etc.
Desserts: Cookies, Brownies, Cupcakes, Fruit, Etc.
Appetizers: Egg Rolls, Vegetables & Dip, Samosas, Chips, Olives, Hummus, Crackers, Etc.


Wear orange. If you don’t have an orange advocacy t-shirt, the FOLMC office still has a few in stock (XL and XXL). We also have “Libraries Matter” buttons for $1.00 each. No t-shirt? Wear orange attire such as a tie, scarf or sweater. Want to show your library pride on your car? We also stock “Libraries Matter” bumper magnets for $5 and license plate holders for $15. The County Council Office Building is located at 100 Maryland Avenue, between Jefferson Street and Fleet Street in downtown Rockville. Paid parking is available in the CCOB garage during business hours and is free of charge after-hours. The visitors’ parking entrance is located on Monroe Street between Jefferson and Fleet Streets.
