A Friends of the Library Chapter for Davis Library was organized in 1998 and incorporated in 2000. The Chapter raises funds for use at Davis and carries on activities to support that Library.
To earn funds, the Davis Chapter runs a continuous sale of donated books. The book sale is located in the South lobby. Book donations are always welcome.
The Davis Chapter sponsors adult and children’s book clubs and special programs such as Meet the Author lectures. In addition, it provides materials that enhance the library furnishings and equipment provided through the County budget.
Its Board of Directors usually meets the third Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the meeting room in the basement. The meetings are open and all members of the chapter are welcome to attend. Check the Friends bulletin board on the main floor across from the elevator for meeting dates and other activities.
Membership applications are available at the Davis Library main desk and may be given to a staff member. You can also give online through the FOLMC Donate button at the top of every page.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or would like to learn more about the chapter.
