Germantown’s beautiful library opened on March 8, 2007, and continues to break county circulation records. If you have not taken time to visit yet, we encourage you to stop by soon. Pictures of the facility and directions to the library are on the MCPL website.
Friends of the Library, Germantown Chapter holds a monthly used book sale on the second Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the lower level meeting room.
Volunteers also maintain the book cart, a place for book-lovers to recycle their reading by donating and purchasing gently used books. To donate, hand your books to a staff member at the main circulation desk and indicate these are donations for Friends of the Library, Germantown Chapter.
You can learn all about our upcoming activities in a number of ways:

We are actively recruiting volunteers to work at our monthly book sales as well as organize donated books. If you would be interested in spending a bit of your spare time helping the library, please email us and the book sale coordinator will contact you.
