Fall Book Sale

November 14  Start Time: 9:00 AM

Our annual book sales raise money for programs the FOL sponsors at the library.  Our Spring sale netted $1300.00. Both the state and county, to help meet budget deficits, have curtailed funding to the library system. This makes our fall fund raiser more important than ever.  A holiday the week of the 14th and a scheduled program is cutting into our setup and dismantling time. We need your help!  Can you volunteer to help set up and/or take down the tables and shelves? You can give as many, or as few hours, as you want. In appreciation, if you set up, you may pick out books before the sale starts and we will put them aside for you to purchase the day of the sale. If you help take down it will be easier to find the books you may have overlooked. Please call: (301) 438-3099 or email misraelitt@aol.com. Thank you. As always: books are grouped by area of interest and signs guide you to your specialty. Books outside the library are free. Most of the ones inside will be 50 cents for paperbacks and $1.00 for hardcovers.
