Literary Feast

Literary Feasts are exclusive author events held in the home of community members. Guests enjoy an intimate evening with well-known authors while supporting Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.

On September 29, 2010, FOLMC is hosting its autumnal Literary Feast featuring Susan and Steve Coll. Steve is a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and Susan is a bestselling author whose book Acceptance was turned into a television movie by Lifetime featuring Joan Cusack. Jim Hoagland and Jane Stanton Hitchcock, held in Board Member Carla Satinsky’s home in Potomac, MD in May 2010. Over 30 individuals were able to mix and mingle while learning about the careers and lives of the murder mystery novelist and Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, as well as hearing about their very different writing styles.
