wheaton-friends-book-saleYou may donate new and gently used items at any of our two locations during normal business hours. Due to space limitations, we  can only generally accept reading materials, audio and visual materials, educational games, and those items that directly relate to our mission. If you have a special item that you would like to donate to Friends, please contact the main office first at 240-777-0020 to make special arrangements.

Please point out items of significant value to the clerk on duty. We issue donation receipts for tax purposes at the time of delivery. Donors are responsible for placing a value on non cash goods. For safety reasons, please do not leave items unattended. If you require special assistance, contact the bookstore directly in advance of your visit. Limited pick up is available for large donations (i.e. libraries, booksstores going out of business, or unique and rare items).  We do not purchase or trade items.
