FOLMC was awarded the Wayne Goldstein Award on May 13, 2011 by MCCF.
The Montgomery County Civic Federation presents the Wayne Goldstein Award each year to an individual of group for outstanding public service to the people of Montgomery County. This year, the award was conferred to FOLMC. It was present by Councilmember Hans Riemer who spoke about the importance of supporting the public libraries: Libraries Matter. No More Cuts.
