Come visit the Noyes Children’s Library Extraordinaire!
Warren I. Hillman, who passed away in 2008, was an avid supporter of children’s learning and enjoyment of the library, and all the donations in his name were donated to the Noyes Branch. Under the advisement of the Children’s librarian, Friends of the Library has purchased over $2,000 worth of new toys, games, and furniture to foster creativity and enjoyment among the visiting children.
Although we support this branch through the county Friends, Noyes still doesn’t have its own Friends chapter. If you are interested in forming one, please contact us today at staff@folmc.org to learn more.

Join the Noyes Library for special presentations that use sign language to tell stories. While these programs are aimed at hearing impaired children and their families, all interested children and parents are invited to come and learn more about the artistry and communication of sign language. Sign language is garnering ever-increasing support to help children communicate beyond the limitations of spoken language, so this program is perfect for babies and children learning how to sign.
There will be multiple presenters throughout the year, including Judy Rockhill and Kathy MacMillan. These programs are fun for everyone, so we hope to see you there!
